Gamescom Day 1: Snail Games Expands Its Worlds with New Reveals, Major Updates and Exclusive Demos
Day one kicked off with a major announcement from Snail Games’ CEO, Shi Hai: the official reveal of 9 Yin Sutra Wuxia, a new internally developed title that expands the universe established by Age of Wushu.
9 Yin Sutra Wuxia and 9 Yin Sutra: Immortal are expanding into two distinct but connected creative directions. Both games are inspired by Age of Wushu, exploring what can be thought of as parallel timelines or alternate universes. But while 9 Yin Sutra: Immortal embraces a more fantastical interpretation of the world, 9 Yin Sutra: Wuxia is rooted more deeply in historical Wuxia traditions and the martial arts culture that inspired the original IP. That distinction is at the heart of Snail Games' vision for the two titles.
